The Flowery Branch High baseball team remained perfect on the season with a 14-10 win against East Hall on Monday night at the Hog Mountain Sports Complex in South Hall. The Falcons (7-0, 3-0 Region 7-AAA) finished the game with nine hits, highlighted by eight runs and six hits in the sixth inning. Each team had seven errors in the game.
Travis Coxworth had the big hit in the sixth inning for Flowery Branch with a two-run double. Cody Ackerman earned the win in relief for the Falcons.
Flowery Branch visits White County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday night in Cleveland. East Hall (3-4, 2-1) plays host to North Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
White County 2, Johnson 1
Luke Crumley, a freshman, led the Warriors to victory with a complete game, nine-strikeout performance on Monday night in Oakwood. Crumley allowed only three hits.
Kevin Frederick powered the Warriors (4-3, 2-1 Region 7-AAA) with two doubles and two runs scored. Travis Rutkiewicz and Bart Westmoreland each added two hits for White County. Jared Stone, David Jones and Will Rowlett each had a hit for the Knights (3-4, 0-3). Rowlett pitched a complete game, striking out eight for Johnson.
Johnson visits West Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday night. White County plays host to Flowery Branch at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday night.
Lumpkin County 14, Chestatee 2
Devin Dunson connected on two home runs and Blake Sargent added three RBIs for the Indians (3-3, 1-2) on Monday night in Dahlonega. Quintin Self added two RBIs for Lumpkin County.
Drew Uptegraph earned the win for the Indians with a complete game and only allowed three hits.
Lumpkin County visits Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Ivey-Watson Field. Chestatee visits West Forsyth at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Trojans outscored East Hall 4-3 in penalty kicks to earn a region win on Monday night in Gainesville.

Jimmy Hatch scored the lone goal for the War Eagles off an assist from Zach Mills in their loss to Lumpkin County on Monday night in Gainesville.
Tyler Esson made 11 saves in goal for Chestatee (4-4, 2-1 Region 7-AAA).

Seth Hester, Brandon Sloan and Billy Hulsey each won singles matches in straight sets for the Knights in their win over West Forsyth on Monday in Cumming.
