In wintry conditions Saturday, North Hall’s boys golf team took third place in the Coal Mountain Classic played at the Hampton Golf Village in Cumming. South Forsyth won with a 169, followed by North Forsyth at 171 and the Trojans at 174.
Landry Haynes carded a 41 to lead North Hall, while teammate Roger Nash was one stroke back at 42.
North Hall returns to action at 3:30 p.m. today in the first round of the Hall County Championships at Royal Lakes.
