The Pickens girls basketball team pulled away late in Saturday's game against North Forsyth, eventually emerging with a 51-38 win.
The Lady Dragons (19-5, 8-3 Region 7A-AAA) led throughout, but couldn't put away North Forsyth for three quarters, leading by only two points heading into the fourth quarter.
Jazmine Goss led Pickens with 15 points. Jordyn Hammontree added 9.
Emily Adams (14 points) and Sydney Sertz (10) led North Forsyth.
Pickens returns to action Friday at Creekview.
