Buford’s Chip Ness is knocking on the door of a special fraternity heading into this weekend’s Class AAA traditional wrestling state championships. The senior, who competes in the 195-pound weight class, can become a four-time state champion, joining a rare group of wrestlers who have reached the pinnacle of their sport every year of high school. And while he can stake his claim as one of the state’s all-time best, the Wolves’ top wrestler is also excited about the possibility of winning that final title in front of his home crowd.
