Lanierland semifinals: East Hall girls 62, North Hall 49

Symone Hampton and Morgan Jackson combined for 12 fourth-quarter points as the Lady Vikings held off North Hall.

Hampton finished with 11 points, one shy of the team's leading scorer Jasmine Jenkins.

Freshman McKenna Rushton led North Hall with 13 points.

East Hall will play Gainesville for the Lanierland title.

Johnson boys 56, Lakeview Academy 41

Devaris Finch scored 19 points and had five rebounds and five assists to lead the Johnson Knights past Lakeview Academy.

Jordan Chastain led Lakeview with 12 points.

Gainesville girls 60, Flowery Branch 23

Jaymee Carnes scored a game-high 19 points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead the Lady Red Elephants to the championship game of the Lanierland Tournament.

Taylor Ricketts scored nine points and Hailey Solomon added six points and five rebounds for Gainesville. The Lady Red Elephants will play the winner of tonight's East Hall-North Hall game Friday night for the title.

Flowery Branch was led by Kayla Smith, who scored nine points.
