The Lanierland Tournament semifinals and finals have been moved up one day to allow interested fans to attend Flowery Branch's state championship football game on Saturday.

The Lanierland semifinals and finals were originally slated for Friday and Saturday, but instead will be played Thursday and Friday. Games will begin at 4 p.m. each day at Gainesville High School.

Flowery Branch will play Cairo in the Class AAA football state championship at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
