The Lakeview Academy volleyball team took a pair of hard earned wins Monday night over Johnson and Cedar Shoals.

In the Lions’ win (25-19, 21-25, 25-23) over the Knights, Louisa Jacobs led the way with nine kills and three aces, while Jackie Burleson had seven assists. Morgan Black added four blocks, and Ivy Godfrey had three aces.

Jacobs added 10 kills as the Lions (16-9, 3-1 Area 8-A/AA) won over Cedar Shoals (26-24, 19-25, 25-16). Black had four blocks and three aces, and A.C. Dover added eight assists.

The Lions play at 5 p.m. today at Habersham Central.
