The Jefferson Lady Dragons appeared in the final four of the Class AA state volleyball tournament for the first time ever this season but couldn’t come away with a semifinal win in a tough battle against Westminster on Wednesday in Atlanta. The Lady Dragons fell 25-13, 25-9 and 25-15 to the top-ranked team, ending the season with a 34-12 record.Jefferson entered the tournament as the No. 3 seed out of Area 6-AA and upset Toombs County and Calhoun to make it to the third round.
