The Falcons took 10 of 14 wrestlers to the Class AAAAA East Sectional tournament and have nine still in contention for bids to state after the first day of wrestling at Apalachee High on Friday in Winder. Zach Winter (138 pounds), Devante King (195) and Brady Dyer (145) won all of their matches to stay alive in the championship bracket going into the final day of the tournament on Saturday. Ben Horton (126), R.J. Deyton (285), Ronny Couch (113), Nolan Alspach (120), Brady Dyer (145) and Quinton Newman (160), Grant Simonds (182) and Daniel Boddie (132) are all still alive in the wrestlebacks.
