Lemarco Lewis score 12 points to lead the Lumpkin County basketball team to a 50-49 win over Jackson County on Monday at the White County Tip-off Tournament in Cleveland.

Taylor Guthrie scored 10 points and E.J. Young scored nine points for the Indians (1-0).

Lumpkin County continues tournament play facing Union County at 5:30 p.m. today.

DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 68, MOUNT PISGAH 47
Stephen Johnson scored 21 points to lead the Tigers against Mount Pisgah on Monday night in Dacula.

Stephen Scaife and Jacob Evans scored 14 points each for Dawson County (3-0, 1-0 Region 8A-AA).

DAWSON COUNTY GIRLS 47, MOUNT PISGAH 35
Jessi Phillips led Dawson County with 12 points and 11 rebounds against Mount Pisgah on Monday night in Dacula.

The Lady Tigers play in the championship game of Hebron Christian Academy’s Thanksgiving tournament at 7 p.m. tonight.

GREENBRIER BOYS 66, JOHNSON 58
Chris Henry scored 18 points to lead the Knights against Greenbrier on Monday night at the Talon Tournament in Commerce.

Johnson’s Grant Cagle and Matt Hollis scored 11 points each.

The Knights will face the loser of the West Hall-East Jackson game at 11 p.m. Saturday.  

MONROE 60 GIRLS, JOHNSON 44
Caitlin Sloan scored 21 points to lead the Lady Knights against Monroe on Monday night at East Jackson High in Commerce.

Shelley Farley scored 13 points for Johnson (0-2).

The Lady Knights return to action against an opponent to be determined at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at East Jackson.
