Jaymee Carnes finished with 17 points and seven rebounds in Gainesville’s 47-35 win against Gilmer last Wednesday. She also had 19 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks in Gainesville’s 64-47 win against North Hall on Friday.

Senior Colby Yates set the Hall County record for career wins, bringing his total to 193. Yates also earned the Hall County Duals’ Most Outstanding wrestler for 135-pounds-and-under. Chan Morris also earned an individual championship, with his first period pin in the final round of the Duals last Thursday at Chestatee High.
