West Hall’s Cadie Shirley posted 11 kills and four aces in a win against Eastside in the first round of the Class AAAA State Playoffs, earning the Lady Spartans a trip to the second round where they’ll host Jefferson next week. West Hall defeated Eastside in five sets (25-23, 22-25, 27-25, 21-25, 15-11). West Hall’s Alli Busbee racked up 17 assists, while Ruby Guerrero contributed to the defense with six blocks.
