Chase Syfan scored 16 points to lead the North Hall boys basketball team to a 63-41 win over West Hall on Wednesday in Gainesville.

Chris Barnes added 13 points in the win.

Shunquez Stephens scored 11 points to lead the Spartans.

North Hall (9-2, 0-1 Region 7A-AAA) visits Lumpkin County at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Dahlonega.

West Hall (8-4, 1-2 Region 7B-AAA) visits Flowery Branch at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 5.

BUFORD GIRLS 55, SOUTH PAULDING 37: Andraya Carter scored 19 points and Sheresse Williams scored 14 points to lead the Lady Wolves on Wednesday.

Buford (7-0, 1-0 Region 6-AA) plays host to Gainesville at 4 p.m. Saturday.

NORTH HALL GIRLS 42, WEST HALL 20: McKenna Rushton, Mary Kate Rushton and Paige Stewart all scored eight points each to lead the Lady Trojans on Wednesday in Gainesville.

North Hall (9-2, 1-0 Region 7A-AAA) visits Lumpkin County at 6 p.m. Saturday in Dahlonega.

West Hall (3-9, 0-2 Region 7B-AAA) visits Flowery Branch at 6 p.m. Jan. 5

CHESTATEE GIRLS 48, EAST HALL 45: Peyton Robertson scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Lady War Eagles in the McDonald’s Shootout on Wednesday in Hartwell.

Rachel Kelley added 10 points for Chestatee.

The Lady War Eagles (9-3, 1-0 7A-AAA) play host to White County at 6 p.m. Jan 5.

East Hall visits West Forsyth at 6 p.m. Jan. 2.

DALTON BOYS 75, JEFFERSON 64: Jessie Damons scored 16 points to lead the Dragons in the championship game of the Pickens Holiday Classic on Wednesday in Jasper.

Darius Minor and Rashard Borders added 13 points each for Jefferson.

The Dragons (7-5) play host to Banks County at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 8.

SPARTANBURG (S.C.) BOYS 50, FLOWERY BRANCH 37: Ishamel Hollis scored 19 points to lead Flowery Branch in the Jared Cook Holiday Classic on Wednesday in Suwanee.

Flowery Branch (4-4, 1-0 Region 7B-AAA) visits Lambert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

SPRAYBERRY BOYS 68, GAINESVILLE 61: Ty Redmon scored 18 points and A.J. Johnson added 12 points to lead the Red Elephants on Wednesday.
