Samuel Palmer’s hat trick helped the Riverside Military boys soccer team defeat Athens Christian 8-0 on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Carlos Carrillo and Christopher Brown had two goals apiece for the Eagles (7-3). An Athens Christian own goal added to Riverside’s total.

Riverside Military faces Wesleyan at 5 p.m. March 16 in Gainesville.

NORTH HALL GIRLS 5, FANNIN COUNTY 2: April Lothridge and Maddie Cook each scored two goals for the Lady Trojans.

Rosemary Schofield netted the other goal for North Hall, which plays Dawson County on March 17.

FANNIN COUNTY BOYS 5, NORTH HALL 2: Jackson Madonna had a goal and an assist for North Hall. Joel Barrientos also scored a goal for the Trojans (4-3, 1-1 Region 7-AAA).

North Hall plays Lanier Christian at 6 p.m. Saturday in Gainesville.

HEBRON BOYS 4, LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 1: Lakeview Academy goalie TJ Wolcott’s 12 saves were not enough Monday in Gainesville.

Jack Perkins scored on a penalty kick for the Lions (2-4-2, 0-1 Region 8-A), which plays Athens Academy at 7:30 p.m. March 14.

Graham Watkins and Wyatt Souther led Chestatee to a 176-193 win against East Hall on Monday.
