High school scoreboard: Pearson leads Lakeview to 30-point win

Austin Pearson scored a game-high 26 points to lead Lakeview Academy to a 79-49 win over Banks County on Monday in Gainesville.

Ross Biegler and Daniel Olvera each had 12 points for the Lions (1-4).

Kevin Daniel led Banks County with 13 points.

Lakeview Academy plays West Hall at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the opening round of the Lanierland tournament.

BANKS COUNTY GIRLS 46, LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 33: Diesha Beasley scored a game-high 21 points and Madison Franklin added 13 to lead the Banks County Lady Leopards to a win over Lakeview Academy on Monday in Gainesville.

Maddie Haymore scored 19 points to lead the Lady Lions (3-1).

Lakeview Academy plays West Hall at 4 p.m. Thursday in the opening round of Lanierland.
