Andrew London hit a jumper in the paint as time expired to give White County a 49-47 win over Union County on Tuesday during the White County Tip-Off Tournament in Cleveland.

Rand Rowland led the Warriors with 13 points, while Eddie Hurst added 11. Senior Joseph Cathey led White County (2-1) with 11 rebounds.

The Warriors play Dawson County on Tuesday in Cleveland.

LAKEVIEW GIRLS 38, JOHNSON 35: The Lady Lions won third place in the Johnson Tip-Off Classic on Tuesday in Oakwood.

After a slow first half where they combined for just 24 points, the Lady Lions and Lady Knights tallied 49 points combined in the second half.

Lakeview‘s Taylor Handte led all scorers with 15 points, while Johnson’s Riley Shannon had 13.

The Lady Lions (3-1) will host Johnson (0-3) at 6 p.m. on Nov. 30.

CHESTATEE GIRLS 46, SOUTH GWINNETT 39: Erin Clifford had 21 points and three rebounds to help the War Eagles beat South Gwinnett on Monday. Bridgett Kelly had 11 points for Chestatee (3-0) and Meagan Kenimer recorded eight points and a team-high nine rebounds.

The War Eagles host North Forsyth on Tuesday.
