The Chestatee High wrestling team defeated Forsyth Central 57-18 and Johnson 72-12 on Friday night in Gainesville. Dylan Brock, Bart Velasquez, Jose Reyes-Levallee, Austin Donaldson, Christian Zatatero, Zach Cheshire, Zach Terrell, Kyle Wesley and Taylor Wright all won a pair of matches for the War Eagles (2-0).

Grayson Entrekin, Brandon Miller, Cody Etris, T.J. White, Malik Wesley and Cody Humphries all won once for Chestatee.

The War Eagles face Archer High on Nov. 26 in Suwanee.

Basketball

North Cobb Christian boys 72, Lakeview 48: The Lions (0-1) were led in scoring by Joel Larsen’s 10 point effort. NorthCobb Christian’s Hunter Ware scored 19 points.

Lakeview hosts Johnson at 6 p.m. on Nov. 30.
