The North Georgia Christian boys basketball team beat Brandon Hall 59-27 to earn its first victory of the season Monday.

The defending Independent Christian Schools of Georgia-Alabama state champions were led by Dylan Boonstra, who recorded 18 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks. Jonah Martin added eight points.

The Chargers (1-0) play Heritage Christian on Friday in Gainesville.
