North Hall’s girls basketball team pulled out a 52-45 win over the Jefferson Lady Dragons Saturday in Jefferson.
Chloe Barrett notched 11 points to lead the Lady Trojans (11-8, 2-1 8-AAAA) in the contest.
Taylor Anne Kelley and Tatum McQuillen each posted 10 points in the winning effort.
Next, North Hall will travel to Cleveland to face White County. The game will tip at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
NORTH HALL BOYS 75, JEFFERSON 51: Carson Heinen led the Trojans (14-5, 2-1 8-AAAA) with 17 points Saturday in Jefferson.
Harry Harper posted 16 points in the winning effort, while Brandon Williams knocked down five 3-pointers in the second quarter to total each of his 15 points in the game.
Hunter Thompson was the only Dragon in double figures as he posted 18.
The Trojans will travel to White County Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. tip against the Warriors.
LAKEVIEW ACADEMY BOYS 80, COMMERCE 42: The Lions (15-4, 7-0 8-A) were led by Drew Cottrell, who had 20 of the team’s 80 points.
Josh Randolph posted 12 for Lakeview, while Carter Reeves chipped in 10.
The Lions will host Hebron Christian Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
COMMERCE GIRLS 62, LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 50: Lakeview Academy (13-6, 6-1 8-A) was led by Hanna Grogan, who notched 22 points in the contest.
Christen Copeland put home 12 points of her own in the losing effort.
Lakeview will host Hebron Christian Tuesday at 6 p.m.
DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 85, CHESTATEE 39: Cullen Reed’s 16 points led the Tigers (9-10) to a win Saturday night in Gainesville.
Jeremiah Crumley pitched in 13 points for the Tigers.
Donovan Hernandez led Chestatee with seven points.
Next up for Dawson County is a home game against Union County. The game will tip at 7:30 p.m.
Chestatee will host Buford Tuesday. That game will also begin at 7:30 p.m.
CHESTATEE GIRLS 48, DAWSON COUNTY 46: Lindsey Caudell at 15 points for the Lady War Eagles.
Brooklyn Popham added 11 points and Dawndria Bell posted 10.
Chestatee will host Buford at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Dawson County will host Union County with a 6 p.m. start Tuesday.
BUFORD GIRLS 61, TIFT COUNTY 30: One night removed from a big region win over North Hall, the Lady Wolves continued to pull away from its competition and improve to 15-3, 3-0 on the season.
Tory Ozment posted 15 points, while Audery Weiner had 14.
Rachel Dobbs scored 12 on the night.
The Lady Wolves will travel to Chestatee Tuesday for a 6 p.m. tip off.
BANKS COUNTY BOYS 73, FANNIN COUNTY 44: Four Leopards reached double-digits Saturday as they improved to 17-2, 7-0 this season.
Trevae Cain led things with 17 points for Banks County. Zez Steeple followed close behind with 16 for the Leopards.
Zac Orr scored 14 points, while Grant Riley had 12 for Banks County.
Kahmal Wiley scored eight points for Banks County, but pulled 13 rebounds in the contest.
The Leopards will host East Hall on Tuesday with a 7:30 p.m. start.
BANKS COUNTY GIRLS 58, FANNIN COUNTY 36: Gabby Kennedy led the Lady Leopards (11-8, 3-4 7-AAA) with 15 points in a victorious effort.
Taylor Parson added 10 points for Banks County.
The Lady Leopards will host East Hall on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. tip.
