High school scoreboard: North Hall girls top Fannin County 58-42

North Hall’s Taylor Anne Kelley scored 14 points in a 58-42 win against Fannin County on Tuesday in Blue Ridge. Sadie Cleveland finished the night with 11 points for the Lady Trojans (4-4, 1-2 Region 7-AAA).

North Hall visits Union County on Friday in Blairsville.

GAINESVILLE GIRLS 56, ST. PIUS X GIRLS 53: Taylor Hawks and Tia Shelton each scored 17 for the Lady Red Elephants (4-1) on Tuesday in Atlanta. On Friday, Gainesville faces New Manchester.

DAWSON COUNTY GIRLS 55, LUMPKIN COUNTY GIRLS 27: Abi Chatham led the way with 13 points for the Lady Tigers on Tuesday. It was a close game at the end of the first quarter, with Lumpkin County in the lead 11-8.

After the first quarter, the Lady Tigers (2-7, 1-1 Region 7-AAA) pulled away, allowing five points in the second period and one point in the third. Kaylee Sticker and Cadey Ayers both scored 12 for the Lady Tigers.

Dawson County visits Fannin County at 7 p.m. on Friday in Blue Ridge.

DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 58, LUMPKIN COUNTY BOYS 55: Freshman Campbell Reed scored a team-high 12 points for the Tigers on Tuesday. Dawson County (4-5, 1-1 Region 7-AAA) jumped to a 19-14 lead after the first quarter and extended it to 39-30 at the half behind Reed’s four 3s in the first half.

Lumpkin County outscored Dawson 13-6 in the third quarter to cut the lead to 45-43 heading into the fourth quarter. Cullen Reed scored 11, and Joseph Cronan chipped in 10 for Dawson County.

Zach Pulley was the leading scorer for the Indians with 18 points. Jacob Zarate finished with 13 points for Lumpkin County, Dawson County plays Fannin County at 8:30 p.m. on Friday in Blue Ridge while Lumpkin County plays Chestatee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday in Gainesville.

BANKS COUNTY GIRLS 49, MADISON COUNTY GIRLS 48: Jaycie Bowen scored 15 points in a double-overtime win against Madison County.

In the fourth quarter, Banks County (5-3) was down by three points when Taylor Parson — who finished with seven points — hit a 3-pointer with just two seconds left to go in regulation.

Banks County was down in the closing seconds of the first overtime when Maddie Thomas, who finished with 11 points, made a shot to send it to double overtime.

Banks County hosts Commerce at 6 p.m. on Monday in Homer.

BANKS COUNTY BOYS 56, MADISON BOYS 53: Kahmal Wiley scored a team-high 20 points in a win against Madison County. Gabe Martin scored 15 for the Leopards (4-4).
