The North Georgia Christian Lady Chargers advanced to the GICAA Division III championship game by defeating the Unity Lady Lions 2-2 (3-2 on penalty kicks) Tuesday evening. Esther Lloyd and Sally McLagan both scored for the Lady Chargers before Morgan Gibbs and Georgia Clark converted penalty kicks to send North Georgia Christian into Friday’s title game against Westminster Christian (Athens). Kick off is at 7 p.m. at Allen Creek Soccer Complex in Gainesville.
