Johnson High senior Grant Cagle won individual honors at the Hall County championships on Tuesday at the Royal Lakes Golf Course in Flowery Branch. After firing a 36 on the front nine on Monday, Cagle earned the victory with a 34 on the final nine holes on Tuesday
Luke James (76) finished fourth overall for Johnson. Josh Foster (78) and Kevin Bohn (81) also counted toward the Knights’ team score.
The Knights carded a low score of 301 as a team.
ROSWELL BOYS 151, LUMPKIN COUNTY 156: Aaron George led the Indians with a 35 and Everett Huntsinger fired a 39 on Tuesday at Achasta in Dahlonega. Austin Booker and Cody Fleming each shot a 41 for Lumpkin County.
Lumpkin County plays host to West Forsyth at 4 p.m. Thursday in Dahlonega.

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 2, SALEM 1: Cassidy Elrod scored with 1:38 left in the game on an assist from Lindsay Porter on Tuesday in Conyers. Porter added an unassisted goal earlier in the game for the Lady Falcons (4-2).
Lauren Dunn had 17 saves for Flowery Branch.
Flowery Branch plays host to Johnson at 7 p.m. Friday.
CHESTATEE GIRLS 4, LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 0: With three first half goals, the Lady War Eagles took control early and earned their first region win on Monday.
Kelsey Neukum, Morgan Dooley and Alexis Rebollar each scored in the first half with Dooley scoring again in the second off an assist from Andrea Cardoso.
GAINESVILLE BOYS 2, LAMBERT 0: Russ Puckett and Douglas Mejia each scored a goal for the Red Elephants (4-0, 2-0) on Tuesday in Suwanee. Carlos Sanchez and Merly Velasquez each provided an assist for Class AAA’s fifth-ranked Gainesville.
The Red Elephants visit East Hall at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
FLOWERY BRANCH BOYS 6, SALEM 1: Javier Reyes, Phillip Abrahamsen, Michael Smith, Emmanuel Teran and Jeffrey Velez each scored a goal for the Falcons (2-4) on Tuesday in Conyers. The Falcons also scored on an on goal.

WEST HALL BOYS 10, WHITE COUNTY 0: Luis Cervantes, Jose Vargas and Felix Ramirez each scored two goals for the Spartans (4-1, 3-0 Area 7-AAA) on Tuesday in Cleveland. Ishmael Miranda and Darwin Mejia combined for the shutout in goal for West Hall.
West Hall visits North Hall at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

JEFFERSON 13, EAST JACKSON 2: Drew Carson had a hit and three RBIs for the Dragons on Tuesday in Jefferson. Kyle Hardy and Lucas Redd each added two hits for Jefferson.
Jefferson’s Jamie Sexton pitched five innings and allowed only two hits.Jefferson plays host to North Oconee on Friday.
GAINESVILLE 10, HART COUNTY 5: Will Maddox had two hits, three RBIs and three runs scored for the Red Elephants (5-1) on Tuesday in Hartwell. Stephen Mason had two hits and an RBI for Gainesville. David Gonzalez earned the win with seven strikeouts over four innings pitched.
Gainesville plays host to Union County at 5:55 p.m. Friday at Ivey-Watson Field.
HEBRON CHRISTIAN 8, FLOWERY BRANCH 7 (9 INN.): Logan Conley had a triple and a pair of RBIs for the Falcons (0-6) on Tuesday in Flowery Branch. The Falcons play host to Lakeview Academy at 5:55 today.
WHITE COUNTY 14, WEST OAK (S.C.) 1: David Sosebee pitched five innings with 11 strikeouts to earn the win on Tuesday in South Carolina. He added two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored.
Jeremy McClure added a double for White County (5-1).
The Warriors visit Franklin County at 5:55 p.m. Friday in Carnesville.

LUMPKIN COUNTY BOYS 3, CHESTATEE 2: Will Jarrard and Daniel Cribbs earned wins in singles to send the Indians to victory on Tuesday. The doubles pairing of Ethan Norton and Edgar Rojas also won for Lumpkin County.
Jeremiah Reed won in singles play for the War Eagles. Chase Smith/Blaine Brown won in doubles for Chestatee.
Chestatee visits Gilmer Thursday in Ellijay.
