CEDAR SHOALS 4, JOHNSON 3: Adam White went 2 for 3 for the Knights, and A.J. Benefield went 1 for 3 with an RBI Thursday afternoon in Athens.
After trailing 3-1, Johnson came back in the sixth inning, scoring two runs and tying up the game. The Knights were unable to capitalize in seventh, while Cedar Shoals scored a run to grab the win.
Johnson hosts West Hall at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday.
GAINESVILLE 2, JEFFERSON 1: Michael Gettys led the Red Elephants (4-0) with a RBI triple on Thursday in Jefferson. David Gonzalez earned the win for Gainesville, allowing only one run in four innings with eight strikeouts.

NORTH HALL GIRLS 82, HABERSHAM CENTRAL 88: Haley Twiggs shot a 38 and Jessie Edge finished with a 44 for the Lady Trojans in an 8-hole match on Thursday at the Innsbruck Golf Course in Helen. Ashley Blackburn led the Lady Raiders with a 42, and Kristen Myers finished with a 46.

Lauren Dunn recorded two saves for Flowery Branch to earn her sixth shutout of the season.
