Mary-Kate Rushton scored 12 points to lead the North Hall girls basketball team to a 48-32 victory over Jefferson on Wednesday night at Philips Arena in Atlanta.

Mckenna Rushton added seven rebounds for the Lady Trojans (3-0).

The Lady Dragons (0-3) were led by Skylar Evanson who scored 16 points.

North Hall faces Johnson in the opening round of the Lanierland tournament at 7 p.m. tonight at Lakeview Academy in Gainesville.

Jefferson visits Oconee County at 7 p.m. Friday in Watkinsville.

JOHNSON GIRLS 40, COMMERCE 30: Shelley Farley scored 16 points to lead the Lady Knights to their first win since 2008 on Tuesday night in Oakwood.

Johnson (1-3) faces North Hall at 7:00 p.m. today in the opening round of the Lanierland tournament at Lakeview Academy.

The Lady Tigers (0-1) open region play against Tallulah Falls at 6 p.m. Saturday in Commerce.

Wrestling

West Hall defeated Central Gwinnett 49-15 and lost to Dacula 42-30 Monday night in Oakwood.

Collins Wright (145 pounds), Chris Price (189) and Julio Chaves (215) each won two matches by pin for the Spartans.
Laiken Herford (103), Justin Byrne (130) and Elijah Murawski (171) each won a match by pin.

Trojans top Mountain View

North Hall defeated Mountain View 66-15 on Wednesday night in Lawrenceville.

John Anderson (103 pounds), Matt Joy (112), Tyler Kratzer (119), Taylor Campbell (125), Wesley Adams (130), Nick Quinn (135), Ivan Morris (140), Cody Wilsdon (171), Cam Howell (189), Colby McClain (215) and Stephen Flanagan (285) all had one pin each for the Trojans.

North Hall travels to White County to face the Warriors, Habersham Central and Jackson County in a quad match at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
