Ty Odem scored 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Johnson boys basketball team to a 90-75 victory over Gainesville on Tuesday night.
Johnson jumped out to a 21-12 lead in the first quarter, but Gainesville outscored Johnson 25-15 to take a 37-36 lead at halftime.
The Knights then rallied in the second half and outscored the Red Elephants 26-15 in the third quarter and 28-23 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
Matt Hollis scored 14 points and Kasey Davis added 12 for the Knights (4-4, 1-0 Region 7B-AA).
Senior Blake Sims scored 19 points to lead the Red Elephants (1-3, 0-1 Region 7B-AA).
Chris West scored 12 points and Quon Holcomb added 10 for Gainesville.
Johnson faces Oconee County at 2:45 p.m. Friday at Philips Arena.
Gainesville plays host to West Hall at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
JEFFERSON BOYS 63, RIVERSIDE MILITARY 58: Junior David Watson scored 23 points to lead the Dragons (5-4, 3-0 Region 8B-AA) on Tuesday night.
Darius Minor added 12 points and J.J. Damons added 10 points for Jefferson.
Riverside was led by Richard Tribble and Dylen Setzekorn, who scored 17 points each.
Brandon Mckinney added 14 points for the Eagles.
Jefferson faces Kell at the Pickens Holiday Tournament at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 28 in Jasper.
WEST HALL BOYS 63, LAMBERT 52: Jarquise Young scored 16 points and Dre Pou scored 13 points to lead the Spartans on Tuesday night in Suwanee.
William Stroup, Shunquez Stephens and Dylan Bartlett scored 11 points each for West Hall (7-2, 1-0 Region 7B-AA).
The Spartans visit Gainesville at 8:30 p.m Friday.
NORTH HALL GIRLS 41, PICKENS 39: Taylor Bishop scored 11 points and Sarah Paschal scored 10 points to lead the Lady Trojans on Tuesday night in Gainesville.

PICKENS BOYS 72, NORTH HALL 71 OT: Robert Humphrey scored 12 points to lead the Trojans on Tuesday night in Gainesville.
Senior Robby Hill and junior Chris Barnes added 11 points each for North Hall (4-2, 0-1 Region 7A-AAA).
The Trojans face an undefeated Buford team at the North Georgia College Classic at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
LUMPKIN COUNTY BOYS 65, CREEKVIEW 59: E.J. Young scored 20 points and Taylor Guthrie scored 18 to lead the Indians on Tuesday night in Dahlonega.
Lumpkin County (3-2, 1-0 Region 7A-AAA) visits Flowery Branch at 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Stephen Scaife added 10 points for Dawson County.

CHESTATEE GIRLS 54, GILMER 27: Peyton Robertson scored 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Lady War Eagles on Tuesday night in Elijay.
Chestatee faces Jonesboro in the McDonald’s shoot out at 1 p.m. on Dec. 28 in Hart County.

West Hall defeated Jackson County 42-31 and went on to lose to Morgan County 40-30 on Tuesday night.
