BUFORD GIRLS 69, BROOKWOOD 19: Three Lady Wolves scored in double digits as Buford handled Brookwood on Saturday afternoon. Camille Anderson scored 19, Marissa Bruce added 12 and Katy Bisges had 11 for Buford (11-3).
The Lady Wolves play at North Oconee on Friday at 6 p.m.
EAST HALL BOYS 79, DAWSON COUNTY 34: The Vikings led 26-2 through a quarter and 50-14 by halftime in a Region 7-AAA home contest Saturday night.
Tylor Brown paced East Hall with 17 points, and Triston Cooper pitched in 16.
The Vikings (10-2, 4-0) host Fannin County on Tuesday.
LAKEVIEW ACADEMY BOYS 72, FRANKLIN (NC) 47: The Lions rolled to a non-region win in the GA/NC Challenge they hosted Saturday.
Tre Gober led Lakeview with 22 points, and Challenge MVP Tae Turner added 18 points.
The Lions (9-4) host Athens Christian on Tuesday in Region 8-A action.
WEST HALL GIRLS 57, FANNIN COUNTY 45: Anna McKendree scored 19 points for the Lady Spartans to down the Rebels on Saturday evening in Blue Ridge.
Macy Passmore added 17 for West Hall, which plays East Hall in Oakwood on Friday at 7 p.m.
WHITE COUNTY BOYS 65, NORTH HALL 60: Whit Mauney scored a game-high 23 points and White County finished with a 20-point fourth quarter to edge North Hall on Saturday night in the Region 8-AAAA opener for both teams.
Bradley Hurst chipped in nine points for the Warriors (8-5, 1-0), while Desmon Mataro and Crawford Abernathy both added seven apiece.
Carson Heinen led the Trojans (8-6, 0-1) with 18 points, while Sam Jackson added 14 in a losing effort.
EAST JACKSON BOYS 81, BANKS COUNTY 78 (OT): Austin Venables scored 34 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in a losing effort Saturday evening against East Jackson. The Leopards lost on a last-second 3-point attempt by East Jackson.
Zez Steeple added 14 points and seven boards for Banks County (12-2).
The Leopards play Franklin County at home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
