The Habersham Central volleyball team earned a pair of wins Thursday, defeating Rabun Gap and Loganville.

The Lady Raiders (16-2) beat Rabun Gap 25-18 and 25-13. Jaclyn Campbell led Habersham Central with eight kills. Haley White had 10 assists.

The Lady Raiders defeated Loganville 25-17 and 25-10. Julia Heimberger led the way with 10 kills. White added 17 assists.

Habersham Central plays host to Hart County and Apalachee on Tuesday in Mount Airy.

West Hall earns split at Monroe Area

The Lady Spartans fell to Monroe Area, but were able to come back and defeat Madison County on Thursday.

Abigail Grindle had 10 kills, eight digs and four aces for West Hall (9-13, 0-3 Region 7B-AAA). Jessica Hollis added 11 digs and six aces.

West Hall participates in the Darlington Invitational today.

SOFTBALL

Union County 3, Jefferson 0

Kara Perry took the loss for the Lady Dragons (8-8, 2-1 Region 8AA) on Thursday.

Jefferson was scheduled to play in the Oconee County Tournament starting Friday night and will play three games today.

White County 5, Fannin County 1

Katie Medlock picked up the win for the Lady Warriors (11-4, 5-2 Region 7A-AAA) Friday in Blue Ridge. Emma Cummins went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI.

White County visits Chestatee at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday.
