Flowery Branch swept Decatur 16-6 and 11-3 in the first round of the Class AAAAA state softball tournament Wednesday, earning a spot in the second round. With the win, the Lady Falcons will face the winner Locust Grove and Ware County in another best-of-three series. Time and location are still to be determined.
