The Lakeview Academy girls rolled over Commerce 57-26 in Commerce Saturday night.

Kaylee McClendon led the Lady Lions (14-8, 9-4 8-A North) with 14 points and Taylor Handte scored 12 to stay near the top of the subregion standings.

Lilly Mather led Commerce with 11 points.

Lakeview plays again at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Tallulah Falls.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY BOYS 73, COMMERCE 54: Senior Austin Pearson scored 24 points and junior Austin Montgomery added 22 as the Lions (19-4, 13-1) remained perfect in the North subregion.

Robert Hayes led the Tigers with 18 points and Jonathan Book added 14.

Lakeview plays at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Tallulah Falls.

JOHNSON BOYS 70, OCONEE COUNTY 53: The Knights (12-13, 4-8 8-AAA South) closed out the regular season by cruising to the win in Oakwood after leading by 20 at the half.

Johnson, led by Matt Hollis with a game-high 25 points, hit 11 3-pointers on the night, nine of them in the first half.

AJ Benefield added 13 points and 13 rebounds, and Jalen Bowens scored 10 points for the Knights.

Oconee was led by Conner White with 12 points and Brooks Crawford with 11.

Johnson will be either the No. 5 or No. 6 seed in the upcoming region tournament depending on the results of the Lanier vs. Walnut Grove game on Tuesday.

OCONEE COUNTY GIRLS 42, JOHNSON 37: Harlee Robson scored a team-high 13 points and Natoyia Randolph added 11 points and nine rebounds in the regular season finale for the Lady Knights (5-20, 3-9 8-AAA South) on Saturday in Oakwood.

JEFFERSON BOYS 84, EAST JACKSON 42: The Dragons remain in the hunt for the No. 1 seed out of Region 8-AA South with Saturday’s win in Jefferson.

Austin Thompson led all scorers with 23, Dustin Casey scored 12 and Andre Daniel 11 for Jefferson (15-8, 10-1).

East Jackson was led by Jake Grindle with nine points.

The Dragons travel to Watkinsville for a game against Oconee County on Tuesday.

BUFORD GIRLS 66, MAYNARD JACKSON 19: Kallie Case scored 12 and the Lady Wolves kept their undefeated region record intact with another blowout win Saturday in Atlanta.

Kristina Nelson and Bree Horrocks each scored 10 for Buford (17-7, 13-0 6-AA), which returns to action for the final game of the regular season at 6 p.m. Tuesday against Greater Atlanta Christian in Buford.

BUFORD BOYS 59, MAYNARD JACKSON 49: Isaiah Williams and A.J. Davis each scored 14 to lead the Wolves (19-5, 12-1 6-AA) on Saturday in Atlanta.

Buford hosts Greater Atlanta Christian at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday for the last regular season game of the season.

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 50, CLARKE CENTRAL 46 (Friday): Marissa Ivey led the subregion champion Lady Falcons with 21 points Friday in Flowery Branch to top the Lady Gladiators.

Tavia Sykes added 17 for the Lady Falcons, who finish the regular season at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Winder-Barrow High.

RABUN COUNTY GIRLS 75, DAWSON COUNTY 53 (Friday): Carly Gilreath scored a team-high 19 points for the Lady Tigers (10-13, 1-8) on Friday at in Tiger.

Kim Wallace added 10 points and grabbed four rebounds for Dawson County, which hosts Union County at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Regional events
