Adrian Humphrey scored 19 points and recorded four steals as Riverside won their first game of the year, 61-21, after scoring only four points in the first quarter on Thursday at Tallulah Falls High School.
Riverside’s Juurante McGordan tallied 16 points and six rebounds on the night.

UNION COUNTY GIRLS 62, MURPHY, N.C. 48: The Lady Panthers got out to a quick start, leading 17-4 after one quarter Thursday night in Blairsville.
Rebecca Merritt’s 25 points led Union County, while Katie Tammer scored 14 to hand Murphy a loss in its first game of the season.
The Panthers (5-1) host Hayesville N.C. at 6 p.m. Saturday.
UNION COUNTY BOYS 68, MURPHY, N.C 50: Zach Odom had a game-high 23 points to help the Panthers earn a home win Thursday.
C.J. Byers had a career-high 10 points in the Union County victory, while James Rowe scored seven points and pulled down 15 boards, seven of which were offensive rebounds.
