West Hall’s girls scored 24 points in the fourth quarter to overcome Lumpkin County 49-43 on Tuesday.

Anna McKendree scored 30 for the Lady Spartans (3-4. 1-2 Region 7-AAA), and Avery Prather added nine.

West Hall plays host to Pickens on Friday in Oakwood.

WEST HALL BOYS 58, LUMPKIN COUNTY 45: Dylan Barron and Esteban Ulloa each scored 11 points to lead the Spartans on Tuesday.

Tavezz Thurmond scored 10 points for West Hall (2-5, 1-2 Region 7-AAA).

For Lumpkin County, Zach Pulley scored 16 points and Cal Thrailkill added 12.

CHESTATEE GIRLS 42, GILMER 41: Tyler Bennett and Brooklyn Popham each contributed 15 points in the Lady War Eagles’ win on Tuesday.

Kayla Watson added nine points for Chestatee (5-4), which visits North Murray for a pre-Christmas tournament on Friday in Chatsworth.

CHESTATEE BOYS 67, GILMER 37: Hunter Creamer posted 21 points for the War Eagles, but strong defense dominated Gilmer on Friday in Gainesville.

Rylee Camp added 11 points for Chestatee (5-4), which hosts Wesleyan in the War Eagles’ pre-Christmas tournament on Friday in Gainesville.

DAWSON COUNTY GIRLS 64, BANKS COUNTY 47: Sheyenne Seabolt led the Lady Tigers with 21 points and 10 rebounds on Tuesday.

Karlie Bearden added 15 points for Dawson County, Ashley Parker had 14, and Haley Burgess notched 10.

For Banks County, Kaitlyn Duncan made her 1,000th career point in the game.

The Lady Tigers (8-0, 2-0 Region 7-AAA) visit Franklin County on Friday in Carnesville.

BANKS COUNTY BOYS 60, DAWSON COUNTY 36: Barnett Collins recorded 19 points for the Leopards on Tuesday in Dawsonville.

Austin Venable contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds for Banks County.

RABUN COUNTY BOYS 72, RIVERSIDE MILITARY 64: Chris Howard led the Eagles in scoring with 27 points on Tuesday.

Avery Cagle added 18 points for Riverside Military (3-4), and J.J. McCalston had nine.

The Eagles play in the a pre-Christmas tournament this weekend at Chestatee High.
