McKenna Rushton and Sarah Paschall both recorded double-doubles in a 70-60 North Hall win against Pickens in Gainesville on Tuesday.

Rushton had 15 points and 10 rebounds while Sarah Paschall tallied 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Rushton’s sister, Mary Kate, scored a game-high 31 points for the No. 10 Lady Trojans (5-2).

North Hall plays next in the Lanierland Tournament at noon on Monday against West Hall at East Hall.

NORTH HALL BOYS 61, PICKENS 45: Imani Cross led all scorers with 16 points for the Trojans on Tuesday in Gainesville. Ethan Smith added 14 points, while Preston Smith and Griffin Olson scored 13 points each for North Hall (6-1).

The Trojans play at 5:30 on Monday in the Lanierland Tournament at East Hall against Lakeview.

LAKEVIEW GIRLS 40, LUMPKIN COUNTY 34: After going down 14-5 after the first quarter, Kelsey Gilbert and her game-high 18 points helped the Lady Lions bounce back to .500 for the year.

Lumpkin County’s Morgan Wood scored 15 points.

Lakeview (5-5, 0-2 Region 8-A) hosts Commerce at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

LAKEVIEW BOYS 89, LUMPKIN COUNTY 61: Joel Larsen led the Lions with 14 points Tuesday in Dahlonega. Austin Montgomery added 13 points, and Austin Pearson recorded 12 points for Lakeview.

The Lions (5-2, 2-0 Region 8-A) host Commerce at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

NORTH FORSYTH GIRLS 44, WEST HALL 37: Kaelyn Gattis scored 10 points as the Lady Spartans lost Tuesday night in Cumming.

West Hall (2-8) begins sub-region play on Friday at 7 p.m. on Friday against Oconee.

WEST HALL BOYS 55, NORTH FORSYTH 44: A.J. Stephens and Hunter Atkinson recorded 13 points apeice as the Spartans moved back to .500 on the season on Tuesday in Cumming.

Corey Burnett scored 10 points for West Hall (5-5).

The Spartans visit Oconee County at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.

DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 65, GILMER 59: Tyler Dominy scored 23 points to lead the Tigers to a win on Tuesday in Gilmer. Will Anglin recorded 12 points, while teammate Bruce Clark added 11 for Dawson County (7-1).

The Tigers host Lumpkin County on Friday.

JOHNSON BOYS 62, WINDER-BARROW 58: The Knights (4-4, 0-1 Region 8-AAA South) made 9 of 12 free throws down the stretch to hang on for the win on Tuesday in Oakwood. Matt Hollis had 22 points for Johnson. Ty Odem chipped in 16 points for the Knights, while Jalen Bowens added 12 points.

Johnson plays Gainesville at 1:30 p.m. on Monday at East Hall in the Lanierland Tournament.

WINDER-BARROW GIRLS 43, JOHNSON 31: Lyndsey Pethel scored a team-high 13 points as the Knights fell to the Bulldoggs on Tuesday in Oakwood.

Johnson (1-7, 0-1 Region 8-AAA South) play East Hall at 6:30 p.m. on Monday in the Lanierland Tournament at East Hall.

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 47, WEST FORSYTH 42: Tavia Sykes scored 20 points to help the Lady Falcons in an overtime win in Cumming on Tuesday. Marrissa Ivey had 12 points and Cara Chilton added 10 points for Flowery Branch.

BANKS COUNTY GIRLS 48, STEPHENS COUNTY 38: Taylor Kennedy recorded 16 points as the Lady Leopards collected their eighth win of the season on Tuesday in Toccoa.

Banks County (8-1, 1-0 Region 8-AA North) plays Habersham Central this weekend in the Piedmont College Tournament in Demorest.

JEFFERSON BOYS 66, NORTH OCONEE 57: Will Puckett led the Dragons with 16 points as Jefferson won on Tuesday in Jefferson. Andre Daniel scored 13 for the Dragons, while Austin Thompson scored 11.

Jefferson (4-4, 1-0 Region 8-AA South) hosts Jackson County at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
