The Banks County boys basketball team pushed their record to 12-1 with a 57-44 win over Madison County Tuesday night at the Commerce Christmas Classic.

The Leopards were paced by Zez Steeple’s 22 points and Kahmal Wiley’s second consecutive double-double (13 points, 10 rebounds).

BANKS COUNTY GIRLS 57, HERITAGE 42: Morgan Rylee led the Lady Leopards with 16 points.

Mallory Parsons and Maddie Thomas each added eight points and Jaylyn Lack finished with seven.

Banks County (9-4) faces the Commerce/Madison County winner at 7 p.m. tonight at Commerce High.

DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 62, PRINCE AVENUE 39: Jeremiah Crumley scored 18 points for the Tigers as they advance to the championship game of the Bulldog Christmas Classic in Monroe.

Gabe Bryant and Cullen Reed both finished in double figures with 13 and 12 points respectively.

Dawson County (7-5) plays for the tournament title 8:30 p.m. tonight at George Walton Academy.

DAWSON COUNTY GIRLS 53, PRINCE AVENUE 28: The Lady Tigers shutout Prince Avenue 14-0 in the third quarter to increase upon a 15 point halftime lead Tuesday night in the Bulldog Christmas Classic in Monroe.

Haley Burgess scored a team-high 15 points, while Kaylee Sticker and Peytan Porter both had 10 apiece. Karlie Bearden, fresh off scoring her 1,000th career point last night, finished with nine points.

Dawson County (12-0) next plays the winner of George Walton and Lakeside 7 p.m. tonight at George Walton Academy.

BUFORD GIRLS 63, MOUNTAIN VIEW 38: The Lady Wolves’ Tory Ozment netted 17 points and fellow sophomore Audrey Wiener added 12 Tuesday night at the Grayson Ram Classic.

Buford (8-3) next plays Centennial 3:30 p.m. today at Grayson High.
