Kelsi Jones notched 39 kills for West Hall in their first win of the season against Athens Christian (25-20, 25-17) and a three-set loss to Gilmer (20-25, 25-20, 25-21) on Thursday. Alli Busbee added 32 assists for the Lady Spartans, and Emily Grainger had 13 kills. West Hall visits Gilmer for a tri-match with East Hall on Tuesday in Ellijay.
