The Lakeview Lady Lions volleyball team (2-2) traveled to Mount Airy on Friday night where they split matches with Heritage and Habersham Central.

Lakeview lost their first match of the night against Heritage 25-20, 25-21.

In their second match the Lady Lions lost the first game 17-25, but pulled out the final two 28-26, 25-20, to claim victory over Habersham Central.

Mona Abraham, Jamie Nixon and Bailey Towles each had four aces against Lady Raiders to lead Lakeview in the service game.

WHITE COUNTY 9, CHESTATEE 4: Callie McDonald pitched a complete game, striking out eight and walking two for the Lady Warriors on Thursday.

White County faces Oconee County at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
