Eight players recorded multiple hits for Gainesville in a 16-3 win against Cedar Shoals on Monday in Athens.

Brandon Sewell notched four RBIs on two hits for the Red Elephants (16-2, 8-1 Region 5-AAAAA), Sims Griffith had two hits and three RBIs, and Caleb Whitenton had two hits, one of them a home run. Skyler Weber had two RBIs on two hits and Drew Wright hit a pair of doubles, Luke Maddox had three hits, and Luke Moore and Hunter Anglin each got two hits.

Anglin earned the win from the mound for Gainesville with four strikeouts and no runs over three innings.

The Red Elephants play host to Cedar Shoals on Wednesday in Gainesville.

NORTH HALL 6, EAST HALL 0: Preston Graham earned the complete-game win on the mound with nine strikeouts over seven innings for the Trojans on Monday in Gainesville.

Andrew Smith went 2 for 3 with an RBI for North Hall (16-2, 12-1 Region 7-AAA), and Griffin Olson was 1 for 2 with a pair of RBIs.

The Trojans play host to East Hall on Wednesday in Gainesville.

NORTH OCONEE 6, JACKSON COUNTY 5: Ben Brissey led the Panthers with a home run in his only hit of the game on Monday in Watkinsville.

Nick Corso was 2 for 4 with a double and two runs scored for Jackson County (11-7, 5-2 Region 8-AAA), and Chase Dunlap was 1 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored.

The Panthers play host to North Oconee on Wednesday in Jefferson.

WINDER-BARROW 3, FLOWERY BRANCH 2: Drew Miles finished 1 for 2 with a home run and two RBIs for the Falcons in a Region 8-AAAAA game Monday in Winder.

Brad Keller gave up just one earned run in 6 1/3 innings pitched for Flowery Branch in the loss.

The Falcons (11-8, 6-4) play the Bulldoggs again at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday in Flowery Branch.

WHITE COUNTY 11, WEST HALL 4: Brett Westmoreland led the Warriors with a three-run home run — his sixth of the year — on Monday in Cleveland.

Will Flowers hit a two-run home run and a double with three RBIs for White County (11-6, 8-5 Region 7-AAA), Matthew Hambrick went 2 for 4 with a pair of RBIs, and Joel Pritchett was 2 for 3.

Spencer Adams (4-2) earned the win from the mound for the Warriors with nine strikeouts over six innings.
White County visits West Hall on Wednesday in Oakwood.
