Luke Crumley hit two home runs, drove in four runs and scored three times, and recorded 13 strikeouts in six innings to lead the Warriors to a 13-2 win over Lanier on Thursday.

Kyle Mills, Hayden Cummings and Adam Hooper also homered for the Warriors (21-3, 20-3 8-AAA), who can clinch the region title with a win against Franklin County at 5:55 p.m. today in Cleveland.

JACKSON COUNTY 11, BANKS COUNTY 5: Trey Sorrells hit a home run and had three RBIs to pace the Panthers to a win in their season finale.
Trey Holton went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI, Austin Robinson went 2-for-4 with an RBI and run scored, and Andy Williams went 2-for-3 with a double and three runs scored for the Panthers (11-14, 11-11 Region 8-AA).

Seth McEntire led the Leopards by going 2-for-3 with an RBI.

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS SECOND AFTER FIRST DAY OF REGION (WEDNESDAY): Raejeanna Jarrett placed first in the long jump and second in the triple jump to lead the Lady Falcons to 40 points and second place after Day 1 of the Region 8-AAAA championships.
