Sean Myer scored four goals for the North Georgia Christian soccer team in a 7-0 win against Creekside Christian Academy on Saturday at the Allen Creek Soccer Complex in Gainesville.

Clay Cox added a pair of goals and three assists for the Chargers. Andrew Pulliam also had a goal and assist for North Georgia Christian.

Dylan Boonstra recorded the shutout at goalkeeper for the Chargers.

BARGER WINS 2-MILE AT PEPSI RELAYS: North Hall High senior Cody Barger ran a personal best time of 9 minutes, 10.97 seconds in the 3,200 meter run in the Pepsi Florida Relays on Friday in Gainesville, Fla. He finished first in a field of approximately 100 runners.

UNION COUNTY 14, RABUN COUNTY 5: Zach Odom had a three-run double, and Philip Stubblefield added two doubles and drove in three runs for the Panthers (11-5, 7-3 Region 8-AA) on Saturday in Tiger.

Trey Thomas picked up his fourth win of the season on the mound and had a two-run double for Union County.

Dalton Everett had a three-run double for the Panthers, and Andrew Walker added a double and two RBIs.

Union County visits Dawson County at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in Dawsonville.
