Colton Duttweiler and Preston Graham combined on the mound to lead North Hall to an 8-4 victory against West Hall on Monday in Oakwood.

Duttweiler earned the win for North Hall (19-2, 15-1 Region 7-AAA), striking out four over four innings. Graham pitched the final three innings, striking out eight.

Griffin Olson led the Trojans’ offense, going 2 for 4 with a pair of RBIs. Lincoln Hewett was 3 for 4 for North Hall, and Andrew Smith went 2 for 3. Adam Kelly, McCoy Savage and Stephen Murray all recorded hits for the Trojans.

North Hall plays host to Dawson County at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday in Gainesville.

EAST HALL 15, FANNIN COUNTY 4: Hunter Buffington led the Vikings with two RBIs and three runs scored in a 2-for-4 performance Monday in Gainesville.

Buffington also earned the win from the mound for East Hall, striking out six over four innings.

Jack Hagwood was 3 for 3 for with three runs scored and an RBI for East Hall (7-14, 5-10 Region 7-AAA), Garrett Bishop was 3 for 3 with two runs scored and an RBI, and Jacob Cash was 1 for 4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Franklin Hale went 2 for 3 with a run scored and two RBIs for the Vikings.

East Hall visits White County on Wednesday in Cleveland.

WHITE COUNTY 14, DAWSON COUNTY 0: Brett Westmoreland went 3 for 3 with three home runs — his 11th, 12th and 13th of the year — and four RBIs for White County on Monday in Dawsonville.

Matthew Hambrick finished the game 2 for 4 with a home run for the Warriors (14-6, 11-5 Region 7-AAA), a double and two RBIs, and Spencer Adams had a home run and three RBIs. Brandon McConnell had four RBIs in a 2-for-3 performance for White County. Will Flowers, Stetson Gearin, Blake Thomas, Joel Pritchett and Peyton Applewhite all recorded two hits for the Warriors.

Adams (5-2) was the winning pitcher, allowing just two hits over five innings.

White County plays host to East Hall on Wednesday in Cleveland.


GAINESVILLE BOYS 4, LOGANVILLE 0: Arlis Nunez, Ricardo Gomez, Roman Arriaga and Josh Painter each scored a goal for Gainesville on Monday in Gainesville.

Juan Remes recorded the shutout in goal, making four saves.

The Red Elephants play host to Heritage on Friday in Gainesville.

NORTH GEORGIA CHRISTIAN GIRLS 1, HORIZON CHRISTIAN 0: Nicole Ball scored the lone goal for the Lady Chargers (8-3) on Monday in Cumming.

Georgia Clark earned the shutout in goal for North Georgia, which plays host to Heritage Academy on Thursday at Allen Creek Soccer Complex in Gainesville.


ATHENS ACADEMY BOYS 5, LAKEVIEW 0: The Lions fought but couldn’t come away with a win on senior night on Monday in Gainesville.

Lakeview visits Commerce at 4 p.m. today in Commerce.

ATHENS ACADEMY GIRLS 5, LAKEVIEW 0: Lakeview fell in five matches to Athens Academy on senior night on Monday in Gainesville.

The Lady Lions visit Commerce at 4 p.m. today in Commerce.


LAKEVIEW BOYS WIN TRI-MATCH: John Jacobs led the Lions with a 37 in a win against East Hall and Chestatee on Monday at Chicopee Woods Golf Course in Gainesville.

Gabe McConnell carded a 38 for Lakeview.
