Sam Patterson had an ace and carded a team-best 76 for the Gainesville High boys as it finished second in the Longhorn Invitational on Saturday at Legacy at Lanier Islands. The Red Elephants’ four-best, 18-hole scores were 53 over par (341), 27 shots behind first-place North Oconee.
