Lakeview Academy’s Joelle Snyder scored 23 points and Elise Roark had a career-high 18 for the Lakeview Academy girls in a 79-50 win against Commerce to open the Region 8-A tournament Wednesday in Commerce. Maddy Towles added 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while Jackie Allen chipped in 14 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds.
