The Gainesville High football team will hold a pep rally before Friday’s playoff game against Cartersville at 2:50 p.m. Friday in the new gym, followed by a tailgate from 5-7 p.m. in the Green Street Pool parking lot next to Bobby Gruhn Field.

Gainesville will also hold its Elephant Walk at 6 p.m. before the game, which begins at 7:30 p.m. Food will be catered by Moe’s. Reservations are due today.
