COLUMBUS – The scores were good for Gainesville’s boys, especially when you consider the fast greens and humid air pressing golfers during the Class AAAAA championship meet at the Country Club of Columbus. All four of the Red Elephants who counted toward the team total carded an 18-hole total in the 70s on an 89-degree day with bright sun for the top golfers in the second largest classification in the state. However, Cambridge and Lakeside-Evans were just a little better on Monday.
