The Flowery Branch girls tennis coach Ginger Jackson was selected as the Region 8-AAAA Coach of the Year, the region announced Wednesday, after leading her team to a first ever quarterfinals appearance.

Lady Falcons singles player Elizabeth Mallory and doubles duo Bekki Benton and Durden Smith were selected to the All-Region first team. Singles players Anna Kate Shaw and Nicole Morris, and doubles players Dani Taylor and Madison Smith were all selected for the All-Region second team.

Habersham Central singles player Kadi Hudgins was given an honorable mention.
