The Class AAA state champion Flowery Branch boys cross country team was ranked tenth among Southeast teams in the Nike Cross Nationals rankings released on Nov. 29.

The rankings include teams from Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Washington D.C.

The Falcons were also ranked second among all classifications in a poll released by gatfxc.com last Friday.

Additionally, the Lady Falcons’ Kiara Woods was named to the gatfxc.com’s All-State girls first team. North Hall’s Ty McCormack was also named to the boy’s second team.

Collins Hills’ girls finished at No. 2.
