After placing third at the University of Georgia Invitational on Saturday, the Flowery Branch boys cross country team is currently ranked No. 2 in Class AAAA and No. 10 in all classifications in the GATFXC.com poll.
The Falcons amassed 132 team points in Athens, giving them the highest finish of any Class AAAA school with an average time of 17 minutes, 18 seconds. Kenny Slavik led the team with a time 16:22 and Maurice Riden finished second on the team with a 16:47.
