Dawson County high senior Seth Stowers was named Academic Athlete of the Week by Prep Sports Plus. Stowers, who plays basketball, soccer, cross country for the Tigers, is ranked seventh in his class with a 97.29 grade point average and is a three-time class president.

Stowers will be featured on Prep Sports Plus, which airs at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, 11 a.m. Saturday and 12:30 p.m. Sunday on Georgia Public Broadcasting (Charter channel 8).
