Chestatee’s Maegan Kenimer has been named the Region 8-AAAA Co-Player of the Year along with Elise Coberly of Madison County. Samantha Brown was also named to the Region 8-AAAA All-Region team for the Lady War Eagles, and teammates Bridgette Kelly and Erin Clifford received honorable mention. Lumpkin County’s Morgan Wood received second-team honors.
