MACON — The Chestatee and Lumpkin County wrestling teams both earned victories on the first day of the GHSA Class AAAA Team Dual Wrestling Championships on Thursday in Macon, while Flowery Branch lost its match in Class AAAAA. Chestatee defeated Locust Grove 49-26 and will face Marist today in the winner’s bracket. The winner will face either Gilmer County or Glenn Hills, while the loser will fall to the consolation bracket. Lumpkin County defeated Upson Lee 46-30 on Thursday and will face Alexander today.
