A season of historic measures ended in misfortune for the Chestatee girls’ basketball team. Two days removed from its first-ever region title and program-best 24th win, the top-seeded Lady War Eagles were upset in the first round of the Class AAAA state playoffs with a 55-51 loss to No. 4 seed Grady on Friday.
